ABOUT THE EVENT
The prospects of Synthetic Biology are plentiful. How do we harnest its potential?
Internationally, synthetic biology has already clearly established itself as a key technology of the future and a valuable industry, and in our country it is becoming increasingly clear that collaboration across all sectors is crucial to drive growth and innovation. To this end, the German Society of Synthetic Biology (GASB) is once again hosting its annual SynBio World Cafe. This series of events aims to bridge the gap between the academic and industrial synbio worlds, in addition to connecting them with legislative stakeholders. This year’s event will again focus on the various challenges and obstacles faced by synbio startups in Germany. The event will bring together a diverse group of participants, including academic researchers, entrepreneurs, industry representatives, venture capitalists and legislators to discuss topics such as funding, entrepreneurship, policy, patents and regulations.
As the synthetic biology industry continues to evolve, the SynBio World Café is an important platform to discuss the challenges and opportunities in the field. As only a limited number of seats are available, interested parties are encouraged to apply and share how they can contribute to the discussions.
